    Position Summary

    As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will assist in ensuring accurate and timely collection of payments from customers and insurance companies. This role reports directly to the Office Administrator and Chief Operating Officer (COO). While training will be provided, previous experience in the restoration industry is a plus.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare and enter daily bank deposits

    Generate and distribute accounts receivable reports

    Attend weekly team meetings to review outstanding balances

    Monitor customer accounts for late payments, irregularities, and missed invoices

    Follow up on outstanding balances with phone calls and emails

    Assist with lien and small claims documentation and tracking

    Help prepare cash flow forecasts and projections

    Research and resolve payment discrepancies

    Perform other administrative or clerical tasks as assigned

    Qualifications

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field

    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    Comfortable using accounting or customer management software

    Excellent communication and customer service skills

    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    Positive attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
