    Are you a detail-driven financial professional who loves turning chaos into cash flow? We are seeking an analytical and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to own our full-cycle AR process. In this role, you will be the pulse of our financial health—partnering with our clients, driving collections, and optimizing our revenue pipeline

    Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience + benefits This is an in-office role at our Lincoln location while remotely supporting our Omaha location as well

    This role will primarily focus on managing and actively pursuing outstanding accounts receivable balances to maximize collections and ensure timely payment from customers and insurance companies.

    Responsibilities

    Contact customers, insurance companies, adjusters, and other responsible parties regarding outstanding balances, payment status, and expected payment dates.

    Follow up consistently on unpaid invoices and maintain detailed documentation of collection activity and communications.

    Investigate and resolve payment delays, short payments, unapplied cash, billing discrepancies, and client billing disputes.

    Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up on scheduled payments as needed

    Requirements

    High familiarity with financial management software and/or accounting platforms like Sage Intacct.

    Superior verbal and written communication skills to handle high volumes of client inquiries with professionalism and tact.

    Experience in assertively collection of outstanding debts

    Education and Qualifications

    High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.

    2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, banking, collections, or accounts payable/receivable functions.
