Accounts Receivable Summary
In this crucial accounting position, you'll play a pivotal role in the company's financial operations. You'll own the process for receiving payment for services rendered in collaboration with the rest of our receivables team. You'll be responsible for maintaining a high level of attention to detail to ensure that all information is entered correctly to ensure that accurate amounts are billed and received. You'll facilitate strong lines of communication with internal teams and customers to process the appropriate documentation. Those who excel in this role will also take on additional ad-hoc projects, supporting the larger accounting team with various projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Receivables Processing // Collect and process appropriate documentation to ensure timely and accurate billing for services rendered.
- Rate Confirmation // Verify delivery and rate information according to customer requirements to process invoices daily.
- Discrepency Identification // Review and identify any discrepancies and communicate issues to the respective party for correction.
- Past Due Tracking // Track outstanding and overdue items in collaboration with your team to ensure payment is received promptly.
- Collaboration // Partner with your team and cross-departmentally to collect all necessary paperwork to process invoices.
Your Skillset
- Attention to Detail // Proven expeirence in a position where attention to detail was crucial to success.
- Billing Experience // Prior experience processing accounts receivables or billing.
- Communication // Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals across varying mediums of communication (e.g., phone, email, etc.).
- Critical and Creative Thinking // Possess the ability to think creatively, solve problems, and remain highly organized in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- A(n) High School Diploma, or equivalent, and at least one (1) year of experience in AR, Billing, Medical Coding, or a related position. An equivalent amount of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- A(n) Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and at least one (1) year of experience in AR, Billing, Medical Coding, or a related position. An equivalent amount of education and experience may be considered.
Salary and Schedule
- Salary // $ 20.58 - $ 22.87 per hour, decided based on experience.
- Schedule // Full-Time; On-Site; Monday - Friday; 08:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
