A well established construction company in Columbus is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead its billing and accounts receivable function. This role is well suited for a proven AR leader who is comfortable owning a billing operation end to end, managing a small team, and working closely with finance leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a Billing or Accounts Receivable
- Minimum 2 years of direct people management experience
- Background in construction or services billing strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear communicator who works well cross functionally
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and oversee all billing and accounts receivable operations
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of 2+ direct reports
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing across the services department
- Collaborate with operations, project management, and finance leadership
- Prepare and present AR and billing metrics to senior leadership
- Identify and implement process improvements as the business grows
