The Accounts Receivable Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers. This role involves addressing and resolving issues and concerns promptly to ensure timely payment for products and services.
Essential Functions:
- Process recurring rental orders from rental contracts; review and post these orders to rental invoices.
- Prepare and deliver rental invoices via US Mail or email based on account holder preferences.
- Complete lien waivers upon request.
- Provide invoicing support for assigned branches.
- Review and post non-recurring and new orders.
- Investigate and resolve customer disputes related to invoice amounts.
- Enter customer invoices into their respective web portals.
- Collaborate with branches regarding customer purchase orders (POs).
- Coordinate with relevant parties to amend POs as needed.
- Process credit card payments, both recurring and one-time, as requested by account holders.
- Investigate and address payment shortages.
- Contact past-due accounts to arrange payment resolutions.
- Request credits and refunds when necessary.
- Assist accounting personnel in resolving tax-related errors.
- Address returned mail issues and update invoice delivery addresses accordingly.
- Handle correspondence from account holders and assist in resolving their concerns.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts receivable and/or finance.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with credit and collections.
- Ethical conduct and personal effectiveness.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
