  • Responsibilities

    Position Title: Accounts Receivable Salary: $23/ hour

    Reports To: Finance Manager Location: Durham, NC

    Work Hours: 40+ hours Full-Time

    The Big Task

    To provide financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of customer accounts.

    Key Sub Tasks

    • Daily Batching and reconciliations of invoices
    • Post customer payments by recording cash, check, and credit card transactions.
    • Scan checks and prepare cash deposits.
    • Reconcile daily credit card transactions.
    • Research & resolve payment discrepancies.
    • Process Refunds
    • Email invoices daily
    • Email statements monthly
    • Perform Collections & Aging analysis.
    • Field Customer & Tech calls related to receivables.
    • Process and approve credit applications.
    • Oversee all facets of customer financing.

    • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
    • 2-4 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience
