Northwest Pump is seeking an organized and customer-focused Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team! This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate customer accounts, processing payments, and ensuring timely collections that support the overall financial health of our company. What will this position do?
- Manage customer accounts and process payments accurately and efficiently
- Set up and maintain electronic payment arrangements
- Process refunds, account adjustments, and miscellaneous invoices
- Coordinate PO approvals, part deposits, and quote submissions
- Respond to phone calls and emails from internal and external customers
- Maintain and process state tax exemption certificates
- Reconcile accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
- Assist with additional projects or tasks as needed
What are we looking for?
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience in an Accounts Receivable role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance environment preferred

- This is a full-time, hybrid position, working regular business hours, Monday through Friday
