We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Corporate Office team and support key administrative and financial functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Position Overview: The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the billing cycle, maintaining positive customer relationships, and supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders. This office-based position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate records, processing claims, and supporting the overall efficiency of our administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all billing-related functions including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections
Provide professional and timely communication to parents and professionals regarding account status, payment support, and billing inquiries
Manage non-payment suspensions and implement collection protocols as necessary
Serve as the primary administrator for CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program), including claims processing, data entry, ordering, and inventory tracking
Receive and log all deliveries and distribute materials to the appropriate locations/facilities
Act as the front-facing receptionist for the Corporate Office, handling phone calls and visitors with excellent etiquette and professionalism
Maintain accurate administrative records and support internal reporting as needed
Assist the recruitment and executive teams with administrative tasks and coordination to support smooth organizational operations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proven experience in billing, customer service, or office administration
Proficiency in data entry and comfort with claims processing and ordering systems
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment
Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information
Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time, in-person position at the Sunshine Schools Corporate Office
Hourly rate: $14–$17 based on education and experience
