    Job Description

    The DIGITAL MEDIA DATA ANALYST supports day-to-day corporate and client projects by planning, executing, monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing digital advertising initiatives, including programmatic, paid search, and social media. This role will be responsible for executing audience, platform, and partner research; developing media mix and budget recommendations; managing relationships with outside vendors/partners; reporting on campaign metrics; and providing actionable recommendations for improving performance on an ongoing basis. To be successful, the Digital Media Planner will need to develop an in-depth knowledge of the industries in which the company and its clients operate to determine which online media channels and tactics will yield the greatest reach and be most effective in achieving campaign goals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIGITAL MEDIA DATA ANALYST:

    • Plan and manage programmatic media buys through a variety of channels.
    • Provide digital media expertise and understand best practices to improve campaign performance.
    • Maintain and monitor keyword bids, daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score, and other important account metrics.
    • Plan, launch, track, and analyze corporate and client PPC/Paid Search initiatives.
    • Manage and monitor corporate and client SEO/SEM efforts.
    • Review, and perform daily account responsibilities associated with Google Ads and other search platforms.
    • Monitor corporate and client campaign performance; update internal team with results daily.
    • Summarize and communicate status and analysis of all campaigns with appropriate internal contacts and client teams, including building client-facing reports in Excel and/or PowerPoint with data visualization, insights and analysis on campaign performance, and recommendations for future campaigns.
    • Research and maintain a record of trends, innovations, and changes that affect the digital media and advertising industry.
    • Achieve monthly team and individual productivity goals.

    QUALIFICATIONS OF THE DIGITAL MEDIA DATA ANALYST:

    • Minimum 2 years of digital media experience.
    • Certification in Google Analytics and/or Google Ads preferred.
    • Experience planning, executing, and monitoring PPC campaigns on paid search platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising).
    • Working knowledge of SEO and SEM tactics.
    • Proficiency in Web Analytics Tools (e.g., Google and/or Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager).
    • In-depth knowledge of popular and emerging digital advertising tactics, including traditional display, native, retargeting, social media, live-stream and pre-roll video advertising, and in-app mobile advertising.
    • Experience running both B2B and B2C paid campaigns.
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel with knowledge of formulas & pivot tables.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • A data-driven, independent, and analytical approach to problem solving.
    • Self-starting, positive work ethic to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility.
    • Stays abreast of new trends and platforms.
    • Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills; must be proactive and take initiative.
    • Professionalism and ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
    • Effectively communicates concepts with team members.
    • Encompasses a positive, friendly attitude while working through day-to-day operations.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.

    • Salary range dependent on experience, $42,000 - 50,000.
