    Basic Job Functions:The Support Analyst is responsible for performing tasks involving the proper acquisition, installation, management and troubleshooting of Accupac’s infrastructure equipment, including but not limited to personal computers, printers, barcode scanners, routers and network switches. This position is the first contact for most end-user computer issues and is expected provide Tier I and II level computer support. This position will also be expected to support basic problems and perform routine maintenance with the Accuterm ERP/MRP system, as well as the related systems that support the mainframe, such as SQL server and Weblogic server. Essential Functions of the Job:Responding to help desk requests in a timely fashion, escalating issues to senior techs as neededDocumenting all communication and tasks performed including closing out help desk requests when completedKeeping the team informed of current issuesManage all hardware equipment and related documentationMaintain, order and manage peripheral equipment and supplies for PC’s and Barcode equipmentInstall hardware, cabling, and configure software needed to connect PCs to the networkPerform Installation Qualifications documenting hardware and software installationPerform and/or coordinate the repair of PC, barcode and related hardwareManage equipment relocation, setup and related connectionsWorking with vendor technical support as neededCommunicating project plan to appropriate staff and department managers as well as outlining any end user process changesBuilding imaging and maintaining desktops, laptops and virtual machinesResearching, testing and installing of internal softwareConfiguring and supporting mobile devices as needed Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standardsParticipating in the modification of company SOPs related to Information Technology Creating and maintaining departmental work instructionsEnsure proper operation and availability of local area network through the performance of day-to-day maintenance and monitoring.Perform daily backup procedure and verify procedural integrity to minimize data loss in the event of system catastrophes or accidental deletions.Troubleshoot and solve internal user problems concerning PC’s, Network, Servers, Intranet and related peripherals.Install and support PC and network related software as well as provide training and documentation to end users for PC hardware and software.Provide help desk support for all IS relevant hardware and softwareOther duties as assigned Minimum Requirements of the Job:Desire to provide outstanding customer service to our internal customersFluent in reading, writing and speaking EnglishAbility to assemble and disassemble computer hardware on a regular basisAbility to work in group setting and independently; ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast paced environmentKnowledge of PC hardware, Windows 10, Windows Servers and O365 in order to provide setup, installation and supportExperience with Java scripting is highly desiredExcellent attention and orientation toward meticulous workStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenDesire to acquire skills concerning new technologies and a willingness to learnPossess strong organizational skillsWillingness to provide after-hours support on a rotating basis with the other analysts Physical Requirements:·      Ability to lift and carry PC’s and related equipment (50lbs)·      Ability to assemble and disassemble computer hardware·      Able to climb ladder and maintain balance while carrying PC’s and other equipment·      Ability to crawl under and around desks to install computer wiring and components·      Ability to utilize soldering iron.·      Ability to manipulate hand tools·      Ability to remain seated 60-80% of the work day.·      Ability to view computer screen for 50% of the work day. Supervisory Responsibilities:  No Travel: Occasional  Education and/or Experience: Must have a college degree and/or 5 years of job related experience. Knowledge of SQL Server, Linux, MS Server, DHCP/DNS/Print Server/Active Directory/etc is required. Experience with Weblogic and/or Tomcat, Java and MS Hyper-V in an ISO 27001 environment is highly desired.  Experience in working in a manufacturing environment.
