Ace Handyman Services - Fox Valley is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Customer Services / Inside Telephone Sales Representative to join our 5-Star TEAM. We are looking for a person with a passion for being responsive and providing excellent customer service by phone, being the first point of contact for our clients!
In this role your primary responsibilities are to answer phone calls, to educate our customers on the types of services & solutions we provide as well as our service model. NO CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Additionally, you will be a key component to the management of the daily schedule. Listening to customers and helping them solve their problems is the objective. Matching the right craftsmen with the right customer is key to a successful customer journey.
As a Customer Services / Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible for inbound and outbound customer sales/education while organizing work and project schedules for our craftsmen. This will require that you provide customers with information and expert advice on our services, pricing, and availability.
Your specific duties in this role will include:
Answer the phone
Respond to job leads in a timely manner
Coordinating the schedule for multiple craftsmen and projects, utilizing our dispatching & schedule management software
Returning customers calls as needed and following up with past customers
Text communication with owner & field team as needed
We are looking for a professional that is highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong administrative background and multi-tasking skills. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with both customers and our craftsmen. You will also need a strong solution-focused attitude and be quick on your feet.
Specific qualifications for the role include:
Comfortable with sales
Adaptive to technology with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and scheduling / dispatch software Service Titan
Strong customer service skills
Great multitasking and prioritization skills
Knowledge of digital marketing activities
Customer-facing experience, is a plus!
Must have reliable transportation and live within 5-10 miles of the Elgin IL office
This role is initially a part-time role that can morph into a full-time position for the right candidate.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour plus incentives
