Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and creative full-stack .NET software developer to help drive existing and future product development of company websites, web services, and databases. This individual will possess three to five years of experience as a professional developer and be responsible for completing projects from conception to finished product, requiring extensive business analysis and attention to detail; as well as building technical relationships and possible negotiations with third-party vendors that utilize company software services.
Key Responsibilities
• Development of both front and back-end .NET websites, web services, and MSSQL Server database architectures
• Creating DDL and DML SQL scripts for database changes
• Analyzing business and technical project requirements
• Designing and developing RESTful ASP.NET Web APIs.
• Effective communication with both internal and external technical teams
• Staying up to date with developments in web applications and programming languages
Role Specific
• Work with ASP.NET, Blazor, Web API, and Worker Services
• A balance of both front & back-end development
• Desire to learn the ins and outs of web services in the car rental industry
• Assist in migrating legacy MVC projects into Blazor
Required Attributes
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a .NET Developer
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Be self-motivated and compassionate about programming, with a positive attitude, active curiosity to learn, and strong communication skills
• Possess strong business/technical analysis and design skills
• Be able to work effectively with a programming team in improving the conceptual, technical, and creative performance of our software applications
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Be able to analyze, develop, and document projects from initial concept to finished product
• Be a team player, accountable, adaptable to change, and stay calm under pressure
• Possess the mindset of continuous improvement
• Working effectively as an independent developer
Additional Experience a Plus
• Blazor Server or Blazor Web Assembly
• Knowledge of XML/SOAP service
• Knowledge of the travel and leisure industry
• Some knowledge of networks and server infrastructure
