    TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST/RECRUITER US - CA - SAN JOSE

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Acer America Corporation is a leading provider of Computer Hardware located near downtown San Jose. We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter that will support the hiring and onboarding Process for Acer in North America. This position partners with hiring managers to create job descriptions, conduct compensation analysis, and manage the entire recruitment and onboarding process. As part of the Human Resources department the Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter is responsible for recruiting new talent into the organization, facilitating internal transfers, and with assistance of immigration attorneys, supporting the Acer global mobility program. NOTE: this is a hybrid position that will require work at least 3 TIMES PER WEEK FROM the office.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage job advertisements on external job boards (LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed, Zip Recruiter)
    • Conduct pre-screening of applicants. Conversations should include candidates’ core competencies, motivations, and compensation expectations
    • Coordinate in-person and virtual interviews
    • Partner with hiring managers to build effective job descriptions which attract the required talent.
    • Ability to work as a full-cycle recruiter
    • Maintain HRIS by adding data related to Employment (prior experience with SAP preferred)
    • Update monthly reports related to Employment

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • BA/BS degree preferred
    • 5+ years of experience full-cycle recruiting
    • Computer savvy with competent knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work with cross functional teams within the company. Must be a team player
    • Must have positive, “can do” attitude and the ability to think outside the box and adapt to change.
    • Must demonstrate good problem solving skills, be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines
    • Can work independently with limited direction and can plan, prioritize and use good judgement making business decisions for the benefit of Acer
    • Must be able to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination
    • This is a FULL-TIME AND HYBRID position
