JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Participate in the development of all testing needs for all embedded systems, including design validation, production validation and agency certification.
• Should be able to manually execute Access point /Extender WLAN tests for validating WLAN functionality as per 802.11 specs.
• Should be able to build and maintain Access point /Extender WLAN testbeds and to troubleshoot and correct any issue in testbeds.
• Generating test procedures/scripts for both firmware testing and bug fix verification
• Working closely with firmware & system engineers to ensure optimal test coverage
• Participating in root cause analysis to enhance the on-going quality of products

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Embedded Systems/Firmware testing and Linux
• 1-3 years of practical experience in WLAN , 802.11n/ac/ax testing Experience with networking and protocols like TCP/UDP, L2/L3 debugging
• Experience with building WLAN testbeds, operating WLAN sniffers, iperf, chariot traffic generation tools
• Familiar with Wireless Standards 802.11
• Understanding of Repositories, Defect Tracking and Test Execution tools like JIRA
• Experience with wired and wireless networking
• Experienced with networking hardware such as routers, switches, wireless access points /Extenders
• Familiar with radio frequencies link performance, reliability, and quality
