    Do you want to help people from all over the world invest and work in the US? We are an entrepreneurial immigration firm and we need an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team and work directly with the attorney to support the team and help our clients. We want to be known for helping our clients navigate their immigration cases with peace of mind and come out of the experience knowing they can arrive and or remain in the United States on their terms. We are growing, and we need a Legal Assistant who can hit the ground running. Responsibilities: • Returning calls and communicating in a professional, sympathetic and compassionate way • Schedule meetings for attorney and staff • Open cases through INSzoom • Send questionnaires to clients and following up on cases with the client • Scanning and saving mail • Placing deadlines on the calendar • After training, prepare packages and forms for family immigration cases • 3 days a week in the office Qualifications: Some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required At least 1-2 years of previous experience in a law firm setting performing administrative tasks • 1-2 years' experience with immigration is a must • Recognition of immigration forms and can place deadlines on the calendar • Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft 365 required • Proficiency with INSzoom a plus • Spanish fluency a plus • You smile when you answer the phone • You are very good with calendars, e-mail, spreadsheets, word processing, and the internet Compensation: $20 - $23.50 hourly
