ACME Freight, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP), is seeking friendly, reliable, motivated, and hardworking individuals who value attention to detail, can efficiently problem solve delivery situations while maintaining a "can-do" attitude in a fast-paced environment! We have openings for permanent Full-time Delivery Associate positions or Part-Time Delivery Associate positions! No Experience is Necessary. Company Vehicle is Provided! We offer great pay, full benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and PTO (accrued on day one) Approximate hours are 10:10 am to 8:30 pm. Shifts can range up to 10 hours per day. Shifts are available 7 days per week. A typical day for an Acme Freight DA involves delivering more than 250 packages to homes, apartments, and businesses. Packages can weigh up to 50 lbs., although most only weigh a few pounds. Delivery Associates will need to carry these up and downstairs, communicate with customers, operate a smartphone that includes a scanner, GPS, and camera. DAs drive our delivery van to drop off Amazon packages to customers within our community. You will spend 90% of your shift driving/delivering and 10% of your shift picking up packages within our Amazon warehouse.  We provide Driver Associates with vehicles, uniforms, and all the necessary technical training to deliver smiles to exceed Amazon's expectations. Load and unload packages to be delivered • Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! Qualifications: • Eligible to work in the U.S (current we do not offer sponsorships) • Minimum age of at least 21 years of age (DOT requirement set) • Able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test • Must have a clean motor vehicle report (Multiple violations can disqualify you from the position) • Must be able to work at least one weekends to include, Saturday & Sunday. Some holidays are required • Must be comfortable operating and navigating a delivery cargo van, (Ford Transit or Mercedes Sprinter size) • Able to get in and out of the van and walk up and down stairs through your shift • Able to work in all outdoor conditions to include all weather • Able to operate a delivery cargo van efficiently and safely. • Ability to prioritize route efficiency through GPS and dispatch directions • Ability to work under pressure and performance at Amazon metrics and DSP expectations • Ability in possessing time management skills while prioritizing route efficiencies Compensation: up to $24 an hour
