    ** JOB OVERVIEW:**

    Provides prompt, courteous and efficient handling of all incoming calls and assistance for outgoing calls which transpire through PBX. Also plays an integral part in assisting with emergencies, (fire, medical, power/system failure) by contacting the designated personnel for immediate assistance.

    ** REPORTS TO:** Rooms Division Manager/Assistant Front Office Managers.

    ** WORK ENVIRONMENT:**

    PBX Office.

    ** KEY RELATIONSHIPS:**

    Internal: Staff in PBX, Front Desk, Reservations, all departments, All Managers.

    External: Resort guests/ visitors, Resident guest/ visitors, Telephone System Representatives, the Owners.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.

    • Compute basic arithmetic.

    • Provide legible communication and messages.

    • Ability to:

    • perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.

    • prioritize and organize.

    • be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.

    • follow directions thoroughly.

    • understand guest’s service needs.

    • work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

    • work with minimal supervision.

    • maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent resort data.

    Desirable:

    • Previous experience in PBX.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
    • Knowledge of telephone system.
    • Ability to suggestively sell.
    • Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers.
    • Previous guest relations training.
