SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT INTERN

AcreTrader, Inc. is seeking multiple Software Engineer Interns based in Northwest Arkansas to join the growing software development team which supports our AcreMaps and AcrePro products. These paid intern positions will have the opportunity to work on both current and new features.

Initially, the Software Engineer Interns will spend time getting familiar with AcreTrader standards, code base, and infrastructure. An ideal candidate will be comfortable ramping up quickly in order to create and maintain features which support the performance of our applications and positively impact our users' business needs. These positions will be responsible for creating scalable, standards-compliant, reusable, and quality code. They will work hand in hand with our product owners and software development team to help ensure we deliver a positive feature experience for our suite of applications. 

Core Responsibilities:

• Participate in the overall application lifecycle
• Develop responsive user interfaces and features with the aid of Figma designs
• Help our product team come up with user friendly solutions to business problems
• Collaborate with back end developers and marketing managers
• Troubleshoot and debug
• Learn about new technologies which may be scalable to our development operations organization as a whole
• Create and maintain documentation

Key Competencies/Requirements:

• 6+ months experience working in a modern JavaScript framework: React, Vue, or Angular OR
• 6 + months experience working with Python
• 6+ months experience working in Typescript
• 6+ months experience working in HTML and CSS
• Experience with Git and GitHub
• Openness to learning and sharing knowledge
• Ability to write clean, scalable, standards-compliant, reusable, quality code
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is a precondition to employment at AcreTrader

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Google Tag Manager
• Experience with Segment
• Experience with HubSpot
