    About the Role

    We’re looking for a motivated, people-driven Action Sports Sales Representative to join our Central Region team. This role blends Sales Development Representative (SDR) responsibilities with traditional sales functions, offering a strong growth path within ARC’s sales organization.

    • Already be skilled in cold calling and warm prospecting , or
    • Have the natural personality, drive, and curiosity to learn and master those skills through coaching and experience.

    You’ll begin by focusing heavily on outbound prospecting—connecting with municipalities, parks professionals, and community advocates to uncover opportunities for new skateparks, bike parks, pump tracks, trails, and bicycle playgrounds. As your product knowledge and confidence grow, your responsibilities will expand into more traditional sales activities, including account management, proposal development, and in-person meetings.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct outbound prospecting (phone, email, and LinkedIn) to identify new opportunities across the Central Region.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal decision makers, parks and recreation directors, planners, and community advocates.
    • Learn ARC’s product lines (skateparks, bike parks, pump tracks, trails, bicycle playgrounds) and confidently communicate their value.
    • Maintain consistent daily activity levels—calls, emails, and meetings—with a focus on quality conversations and measurable outcomes.
    • Qualify leads, set appointments, and collaborate with senior sales staff to move opportunities through the pipeline.
    • Manage opportunities through ARC’s CRM, ensuring accurate activity tracking and follow-up.
    • Prepare and deliver sales quotes, proposals, and presentations.
    • Attend trade shows, conferences, and community events to represent ARC and generate leads.
    • Collaborate with design, construction, and marketing teams to align messaging and customer needs.
    • Contribute to team strategy, offering feedback on trends, customer responses, and opportunities for growth.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communicator with a friendly, engaging phone presence.
    • Either proficient in cold/warm calling or highly motivated to develop that skill quickly.
    • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own activity goals.
    • Team player who values collaboration, communication, and accountability.
    • Organized and process-minded, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities.
    • Willingness to learn CRM tools, systems, and prospecting techniques.
    • Experience in B2B or municipal/government sales is a plus, particularly in parks/recreation, construction, or design-build industries.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

    Cold calling or SDR experience is not required if you bring the personality, drive, and willingness to learn the craft.

    Proficiency & Growth Path

    • Phase 1 – SDR Development: Learn our products, markets, and messaging while mastering outreach, lead qualification, and CRM management.
    • Phase 2 – Sales Integration: Gradually take on full sales responsibilities, including proposals, quotes, and client meetings, while continuing strategic outreach.
    • Phase 3 – Territory Ownership: Manage your own book of business and drive growth within your assigned region.
