About the PRN Home Health Occupational Therapist Position

We are looking for Occupational Therapist to help patients perform the daily tasks they need and wish to do. Your main goal is to provide practical therapeutic services and adapt the home environment to optimize the patient's lifestyle goals. As this is a PRN position, you will be working with us on an as-needed basis. We offer flexible scheduling, and you can choose the areas you prefer to cover. We would make an excellent addition to your full-time job.

OT Responsibilities

• create individualized therapy programs in a home care setting to help patients in regaining or maintaining their capacity to carry out everyday tasks
• educate patients on practical skills and how to use adaptive equipment to participate in activities
• coordinate with other healthcare professionals and the executive director
• assess and monitor patients' progress
• document and report patients' progress

OT Requirements

• License to practice within the state
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in this field
• Prior experience in home health is preferred, but not required
• Ability to manage own schedule and patient load
