About the PRN Physical Therapist Assistant Position

We are looking for Physical Therapist Assistant to act as the patient's partner throughout the journey of restoring motion. You'll ensure that the client will function at their personal best. You'll work with other AIHT therapists to coordinate and optimize rehabilitative care.

As this is a PRN position, you will be working with us on an as-needed basis.

PTA Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervising therapist
• Implement the treatment plans created by the PT or other therapists
• Assist patients with their exercises and activities
• Monitor patient's progress and adjust treatment accordingly
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and the executive director
• Document and report patients' progress

PTA Requirements

• License to practice within the state
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in this field
• Physical exam conducted under a year
• Prior experience in home health is preferred, but not required
• Ability to manage own schedule and patient load
