About the PRN - Home Health Nurse Position

We are looking for a home care nurse to help individuals recover from injuries and illnesses by providing treatment, education, and emotional support to both patient and the family. You will visit patients and monitor their conditions, perform tests, and write reports for physicians. As this is a PRN position, you will be working with us on an as-needed basis. We offer flexible scheduling, and you can choose the areas you prefer to cover. We would make an excellent addition to your full-time job.

RN Responsibilities

• treat and examine patients in the comfort of their homes
• take vital signs, administer medication, and perform all necessary tests
• inspect wounds and change wound dressings
• educate the patient's family members and accommodate their questions
• coordinate with other healthcare professionals in a home care setting and the executive director
• assess and monitor patients' progress
• document and report patients' progress

RN Requirements

• License to practice within the state
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in this field
• Prior experience in home health is preferred, but not required
• Ability to manage own schedule and patient load
