Activities is the "fun" department of senior living! Enjoy bringing a smile to a resident's face as you help him/her stay engaged physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively as an ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT at Hickory Valley Retirement (independent and assisted living) in Chattanooga, TN.

We invite a resident-focused, energetic Activities Assistant to support and encourage our residents. Hybrid role: 2 days in actvities ~ 2 days driving

Ideal Candidate for ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT:

Friendly, approachable personality

Driving experience

Fun, energetic, positive, outgoing

Ability to be on your feet and on-the-go majority of the day

Patient

Good communication skills

Experience with seniors a plus

Tasks to Serve Residents as ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT :

Assist residents with activities

Encourage participation in activities

Set up and run a wide variety of games and activities

Drive residents to outings & events
