Job Summary

We are a residential Memory Care community in Lakewood, CO seeking an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors with dementia by enhancing their quality of life. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, reliable, creative and engaging.

Responsibilities

Leads activities during the day and weekends

Assists with creating activities

Provide one-on-one visits and companionship when not engaged in an activity

Qualifications

Previous experience with senior living activities is preferred

First aid and CPR certified is preferred

Previous experience with dementia care is preferred

Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Excellent communication and interpersonal spills

Compassionate, respectful, ethical, committed and reliable
