Activities is the "fun" department of senior living! Enjoy bringing a smile to a resident's face as you help him/her stay engaged physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively as our ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR at Hickory Valley Retirement (independent and assisted living) in Chattanooga, TN.

Be part of our leadership team working closely with GM. Be a hands-on manager who plans, organizes and leads events for our 100+ seniors on campus

Ideal Candidate for ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR:

Friendly, approachable personality

Fun, energetic, positive, outgoing

Ability to be on your feet and on-the-go majority of the day

Patient

Good communication skills

Experience with seniors a plus

Tasks to Serve Residents as ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR:

Design and implement busy activities calendar

Assist residents with activities

Encourage participation in activities (i.e., entertainment, shopping, guest speakers)

Set up and run a wide variety of games and activities

Schedule events, performances, day trips, etc.

Decorate for holidays and special events
