    Atlanta-based research and information firm serving the utility industry, seeks a Research Analyst who will research and analyze customer-facing topics in the utility and energy industry. The ideal candidate is passionate about telling stories through data.

    The candidate will need to survey, analyze data, identify data trends, and create visuals and presentations for internal and external clients. They will also need to confidently communicate with clients, support Research Managers, and collaborate with other analysts and conference producers to generate research reports, case studies, webinars, and other content.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Design surveys and questionnaires
    • Collect and analyze data on utility programs
    • Create written reports, presentations, infographics, blogs, and other written materials
    • Track and forecast industry trends
    • Identify and monitor best practices
    • Develop and maintain contacts across the industry
    • Follow industry trends to develop content for Chartwell events
    • Attend industry events, webinars, and conferences
    • Contribute new ideas to improve existing products and services

       

      Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in business, journalism, communications, statistics, social sciences, or another research-related field
      • 2+ years’ experience in research and analysis and/or business reporting
      • Experience with data analysis, such as t-tests and regressions
      • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
      • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel required. Knowledge of pivot tables and Excel Data Analysis tools preferred.
      • Knowledge of Qualtrics and SQL are preferred
      • Experience with Salesforce is preferred
      • Knowledge of the energy industry or customer experience research is preferred
