WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The AcuityAds Front-End API team is seeking a new Software Engineer who will support our platform, develop and enhance process. We’re looking for passionate, creative engineers who are excited about solving problems and working with some of the latest technology.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Develop next-generation web applications with near-native performance
Build and architect reusable web components
Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle
Follow latest developments in the industry (eg. Chrome Dev Summit) and propose adoption strategies
Pick up Java as necessary
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3 web standards
Experience in JavaScript
Experience with web libraries and frameworks, such as React
Experience with open source community and understanding of common component libraries (Material-UI etc.)
Well-developed web design skills and knowledge of user experience fundamentals
Familiarity with web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques
PREFERRED TECH STACK:
Experience with React/Redux and Next.js
One or more programming languages such as Java, C/C++ or Python
