Acuity is growing as a result we are hiring an Advertising Operations Manager to support our growth, ensuring that AcuityAds remains an enjoyable and fulfilling place to work. The Operations Manager will be a hands-on and will continuously conduct one-on-one meetings and provide guidance, training and motivation necessary to develop our amazing talent.
This person will have a key role across the lifecycle of operations, from hiring to onboarding to development and succession. This role is a strategic role as well as a tactical and technical role, providing visionary leadership around sustaining our culture and developing our team as well as implementing the day-to-day processes to deliver it.
Under the EVP and VP of AdOps’ supervision, s/he will work directly with the management team to craft our approaches to supporting our people and developing their skills, and they will work directly with all of our team members to ensure they are supported and have clarity around their role in achieving our business objectives.
Expected Outcomes:
The Operations Manager will be expected to deliver:
Support the VP of AdOps and team members: resulting in the happiness, retention and quality output of all team members
Process improvement: clarity around our structure and review process, ensuring reviews and appraisals are all delivered on time, and every team member has clear and measurable objectives
Communication improvement: serve as first point of contact for internal-external clients as well as develop integrated communication strategies, including suggestions for appropriate verbal/written response and time frame to meet strategic objectives of the business
Knowledge transfer: develop in depth knowledge of our business in order to create communications that draw line of sight into the business goals and priorities for the team
Responsibilities:
Manage campaign and Self-serve partnerships teams as well as embrace and encourage a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosities
Pay close attention to daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary
Lead regular knowledge share sessions to present and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign performance
Provide expert operational input to the engineering, product and QA teams
Assist in the growth of junior team members through regular 1:1 meetings, identifying technical and career development opportunities, being a sounding board for questions and mentor to share addressable media experiences and applications
Ensure team operations and client deliverables are commensurate with client goals and strategic vision of the business
Write/edit/review e-mail communications while displaying versatility, creativity and deep understanding of relevant audience needs
Set up ways of working with your team that are appropriate to the demands of your internal clients and the communication styles of those around you
Focus on the overall health and growth of Acuity’s clients’ campaigns including the oversight of programmatic strategy, individual campaign proposal development and meaningful post-buy recaps
Interface with Strategy and Account Management teams to respond to communicate service offerings, and to identify and deliver new solutions in a collaborative fashion
Lead regular knowledge share sessions to present and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign performance
Contribute strategic insight in new business efforts, determine optimal staffing assignments for existing clients and new business scenarios
Establish processes and standard operating procedures
Maintain accountability for QA procedures across upcoming, live and ending campaigns
