Key Functions: (THIS IS CURRENTLY A FULL-TIME POSITION)

• Design and oversee applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment programs for clients with autism spectrum disorder and other special needs
• Supervise and mentor treatment teams to implement ABA treatment plans
• Consult with parents and other professionals while teaching essential ABA techniques and strategies
• Conduct and write initial assessments and progress reports for each client's funding source
• Attend IEP, IFSP, and related meetings based on need
• Develop specialized trainings based on interest
• Conduct ongoing performance evaluations for staff
• Recruit, interview, train, and manage behavior instructors
• Perform other job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• BCBA certification
• Master's degree in education, psychology, counseling, behavior analysis, behavior science, human development, social work, or rehabilitation
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment
• 1 year experience working as a behavior instructor implementing ABA interventions with children with autism
• 1 year experience working as a behavior supervisor designing ABA programs for children with autism, as well as training parents and instructors how to implement these interventions
• Knowledge and experience with DTT, NATS/NET, VB
• Experience conducting assessments: VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS
• Physical Demands - Working with clients in their natural environments may require you to lift or move approximately 50 lbs. and be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
• Ability to provide negative TB test results
• Ability to pass FBI & DOJ fingerprinting
• Energetic attitude and desire to help individuals with developmental disabilities succeed
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
