  • Responsibilities

    This begins as a 3-day per week position with the possibility of becoming a 5-day a week hybrid position. The onsite location is in Annapolis, MD. Position is a 2-month assignment with the possibility of extending beyond that.

    We are looking for an experienced Finance Coordinator to help with inventory of IT-related equipment, reconciliation of monthly telecommunications invoices, and maintaining the lifecycle of equipment.

    Responsibilities are:

    • Accounts Payable
    • Reconciliations
    • Purchase Orders
    • Vendor relationships
    • Basic IT knowledge
    • Order equipment (laptops, desktops, and phones)
    • Maintain lifecycle of equipment and properly dispose of equipment at the end of their lifecycle
    • Assist the Department's Executive Assistant with projects
    • Timely reconciliation of monthly telecommunications invoices (accurate coding by departments)
    • Proficient in Excel
    • Must be independent, a critical thinker, and a problem solver

    Requirements are:

    • Good practical experience with spreadsheets
    • Good knowledge of accounting and accounting software, MS Office, and databases
    • Comfortable talking to other departments
    • Accuracy, high performance and close attention to detail
    • Strong data entry and mathematical skills
    • Organized and responsible
    • High school degree; associate's degree or other relevant certification will be a bonus
