Job Description
Responsibilities:
· Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
· Apply solid understanding of accounting principles relative to individual client assignments.
· Prepare payroll and sales tax reports for federal and state taxing agencies.
· Assist clients with bookkeeping questions and training.
· Reconcile accounts and review financial information for accuracy.
· Special projects and reports as assigned by Management.
· Embrace professional standards, client confidentiality, and personal conduct.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation (or related) from an accredited University.
· Prefer experience in public accounting and/or tax preparation.
· Familiarity with full-charge bookkeeping.
· Excellent time-management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadline-oriented assignments.
· Strong analytical, communication and research skills.
· Team player with a positive attitude.
