Job Description

Busy law firm in West LA is looking for a Litigation Associate to join their Probate Litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience within litigation. Any experience within probate litigation highly desired, but not required. Must have an interest in pursuing that area of practice.

Responsibilities will include:

• Researching legal issues

• Drafting various documents, including pleadings, discovery, memo and motions

• Make appearances within probate courts

• Assist on litigation matters through trial

• Assist on guardianship and conservatorship proceedings

Required Qualifications:

• Interest in probate, trust and estates practice

• 1-3 years of litigation experience

• Strong writing skills

• CA Bar membership

• Previous moot court or law review experience is a plus
