Military Veteran - Warehouse or Yard Laborers

A customer-oriented construction staffing and payroll firm has Warehouse or Yard Laborer positions available in the Harlingen, TX area. They are looking for dependable, safety-aware, and capable temp-to-hire laborers.

Compensation: $11 - $17 per hour based on certifications, background, or experience

Role of a Yard Laborer

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing of portable restroom equipment.

• Safely move, load and unload trucks and trailers.

• Operate power washing equipment and forklifts.

• Prep trucks with necessary equipment and supplies.

• Conduct major and minor repairs on restroom units.

• Communicate with supervisors and meet daily task requirements.

• Complete necessary paperwork associated with the position.

• Ensure good housekeeping and proper care for the facility and equipment.

• Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment for every job as well as follows all safety rules and policies.

• Assist mechanics with minor tasks.

Candidate Requirements

- Able to lift 45 lbs. repeatedly

- Ability to perform strenuous physical work for sustained periods in all types of weather conditions

- Ability to follow instructions; good physical condition

- Ability to understand and operate within safety rules

- Must be able to pass drug test

Preference is provided to applicants who have served in the Armed Forces.
