We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales Representative/Account Executive to join our team at Adcom Worldwide. In this role, you will generate leads, attract new clients and close deals primarily in the Southeastern US; specifically the Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA area. However account executives can sell globally and can request to register leads for companies in other locations.
Responsibilities:
Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within the Southeastern US
Meet or exceed designated sales targets
Create and implement an effective sales strategy
Document all leads, sales and customer interactions
Use knowledge of International and domestic freight forwarding to educate potential and existing customers
Expected to sell to the Southeastern US, so travel will be necessary
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
3+ years experience in Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Logistics or other comparable fields
International and domestic freight forwarding knowledge such as: FTL, LTL, Containerized Freight, Air and Ocean freight, Customs Regulations, Dangerous Goods, Incoterms, etc.
Must be able to provide detailed commission reports listing services you have previously sold or comparable portfolio
