Growing biomedical company looking for the right person to support the development, application, and usage of research equipment. The ideal candidate should be highly focused with excellent communication skills over phone and email with mechanical and electrical experience. Rodent in vivo work may be required, though no prior animal experience is required; training will be provided.

The Technical Resource Specialist will primarily be responsible for supporting and testing newly developed equipment, assisting in the creation of educational material, and supporting the best physiological monitors and anesthesia equipment in the laboratory animal market.

Job Responsibilities:

• Aid in the testing and validation of veterinary anesthetic vaporizers, monitoring equipment, and associated accessories
• Act as a high-level subject matter expert for veterinary anesthesia and monitoring equipment
• Provide technical expertise to all customer groups and internal departments
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to expand product offerings
• Work alongside Technical Resource Manager for creation and authorship of technical documents, including technical and educational materials, research projects, product management, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications

• AS or BS in animal science, biology, biomedical engineering or related scientific field desired
• Experience with product/project management desirable
• ALAT or higher certification desired, or ability to become certified within 1 year of hire date
• Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical capabilities
• Exhibit understanding of scientific protocols and processes
• Effective listening and communication skills
