Responsibilities: • Control department costs that are under your management, such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment, and work with vendors to get the best products at a cost-effective price • Incorporate different ingredients in a creative way to produce fresh and innovative menu items and specials • Establish a collaborative environment for kitchen workers by educating recruits and hiring personnel that fit the corporate culture • Ensure that all food preparation, including processes, portioning, and garnishing, is well supervised, and confirm that the finished dishes are visually appealing • Set and monitor performance criteria for team members, as well as provide advice and direction to support and maintain an efficient kitchen Qualifications: • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate • Understanding and compliance with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage • Must have 7-8 years of culinary experience for this role • This role requires experience building, motivating, and leading a team Compensation: $23 - $25 per hour
