    Carolina’s Crossdock is looking for a hardworking, highly skilled professional who knows how to get the best out of their team. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will ensure customer satisfaction on an accelerated service commitment level, as well as lead the performance of a group of Customer Service Representative (CSR) and to provide maximum productivity and outstanding service.     Basic Job Functions:

    In this position you will need to demonstrate experience in the planning, coordinating and monitoring for the shipping and receiving of goods in our warehouse facility. The position coordinates labor and material resources to complete the following warehouse functions: receiving, inventory, picking orders, preparing orders shipment and facility maintenance.

    What you’ll do on a typical day:

    • Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the local CSR team to achieve a superior level of customer satisfaction; ensure customer service standards and procedures are followed
    • Work Site Manager to research and resolve complex customer inquiries; identify root causes and develop effective solutions
    • Hire, motivate and develop direct reports; promote a high level of employee engagement
    • Support and occasionally fill in for CSRs in the service center or district
    • Ensure customer expectations are met and always act with the customer’s best interest in mind; advocate for best-in-class customer experiences and a customer-focused CC3PL culture.
    • Work with the Site Manager to organize goods in an orderly fashion and maintain an inventory within the MRP system.
    • Assist the Site Manager in completing special projects as assigned by the company’s Senior Leadership Team.
    • Hands on management – active participation in all warehouse activities at all levels. Able to regularly lift 55 pounds.

    What you need to succeed at CC3PL:

    At a minimum, you’ll need:

    • Ability to supervise and coach individuals.
    • Proactive demonstrating interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Ability to identify work priorities in a constantly changing environment.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw data-based conclusions.
    • Ability to succeed in a high-performance team environment.
    • Strong relationship skills with subordinates, peers, and executives.
    • Strong understanding of various factors that yield a successful outcome.
    • Accountable and delivers on commitments.
    • Ability to identify new processes and procedures for continual improvement.
    • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Warehouse Shipping & Receiving environment.
    • Minimum five (5) years’ experience with Logistics, expediting, MRP/ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics (Navision) preferred.
    • Good working knowledge of inventory processes.
    • Well versed in working with FedEx, UPS, DHL, LTL shipments, both domestic and international shipping.

    It’d be great if you also have:

    • Well versed in Haz-Mat product handling and inland, ocean and air transport requirements.
    • CDL preferred Availability to work extended hours when necessary; travel occasionally
    • Experience in a Less-than-Truckload (LTL) freight operations, transportation operations, logistics or supply chain environment
    • Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications
    • Highly organized with proven ability to multitask; able to prioritize workload under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent computer skills
    • Ability to maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills
