Job Description

Aderas, Inc. is seeking an Applications Developer to join the team.  The Applications Developer will bring sufficient technical knowledge and understanding of the DMDC environment to troubleshoot a variety of issues and challenges. The Applications Developer will have outstanding verbal and written communication skills,  including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into layman terms.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

• Confirming the accuracy of Functional Specification
• Provide summaries on the State of Unit Tests within the application/ensure full unit test coverage
• Implement solutions for any java library on the DTL with a divest or blocked status
• Implement coding best practices that facilitate the automation of QA testing
• Conduct code reviews
• Publish release notes
• Execute required cyber hardening and providing a POAM and FPR file

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Experience with Java, Jira, CMS, Change Gear, and all of the development tools used in the DMDC enterprise

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Experience with the Java Persistence API (JPA), especially as it pertains to Spring Data

CITIZENSHIP: U.S. Citizen, able to obtain a security clearance, CAC/CAC-eligible
