Aderas, Inc. is dedicated to providing services to help our clients meet their mission needs. We are seeking an Oracle PL/SQL developer to join a project supporting the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC).
Primary Job Duties:
- Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
- Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
- Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.May supervise others.
- Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
- Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
- Consults with project teams and end-users to identify application requirements.
- Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
- Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Instructs assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on the development team.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Previous experience planning and leading tasks
- Experience designing, developing, enhancing, debugging, and implementing software.
- Extensive experience troubleshooting production problems related to software applications.
- Experience developing software user manuals
- Experience assisting in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration, and testing tools
Required Education & Years of Experience:
- 7 years min. relevant experience
- Associate degree
- Security +
Clearance/Citizenship: U.S. Citizen/Secret Clearance Preferred
