    Aderas, Inc. is seeking a mid-level QA Analyst to join the team.

    Primary Job Duties:

    • Serve as a lead tester.
    • Performs quality assurance activities with no supervision for one or more complex software development projects.
    • Create and develop project Software Quality Assurance Plans and implement procedures that conform to the requirements of the contract.
    • Provides an assessment of how the project’s software development process is being implemented relative to the defined process and leads the team in recommending methods to optimize the organization’s process.

    Required Education & Work Experience:

    • Associate’s Degree, Min. 7 years’ relevant experience

    Required Experience & Skills:

    • Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (i.e. waterfall, iterative, agile, etc.).
    • Ability to develop and document test plans and create test cases based on software requirements and functional/technical specifications.
    • Comprehensive understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies, processes, and testing metrics.
    • Ability to independently test Java client/server software suites with multiple independent components.
    • Skilled in application testing on the Windows platform, especially Client/Server .Net and Java applications, data synchronization, Global Platform, and Biometrics, and/or XML/SOAP applications.
    • Strong experience in creating, editing, updating SQL statements.
    • Knowledgeable in automated testing tools.
    • Strong experience using version control systems (i.e. such as Git, VSS, or TFS).
    • Strong experience using issue tracking software (i.e. such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestTrackPro).
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
    • Test applications, develop manual/automation scripts for functional and synchronization process validation.
    • Create/update QA test plans and test cases based on requirements functional/technical specifications.
    • Ability to design and map test cases to requirements via the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
    • Ensure issues/defects are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner during a testing cycle.
    • Serve as a project application lead tester for projects to design and implement innovative solutions to complex testing.
    • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment to obtain requirements, specifications, and pertinent data to accurately test supported applications.
    • Understand application business rules, configuration management and deployment processes, testing infrastructure, and backend components required to support the application.
    • Monitor projects and ensures client requirements are met.
    • Coordinate and lead others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations
    • Build, confirm, and prioritize project plans and deliverables with clients and vendors.
    • Work independently in a collaborative team environment, often with other clients and vendors.

     Required Certification: CompTIA Security + CE

    Clearance/Citizenship: U.S. Citizen, Position of Trust or Top Secret Clearance
