    <p>Aderas, Inc. is seeking a mid-level QA Analyst to join the team.</p><p><strong>Primary Job Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as a lead tester. </li><li>Performs quality assurance activities with no supervision for one or more complex software development projects.</li><li>Create and develop project Software Quality Assurance Plans and implement procedures that conform to the requirements of the contract.</li><li>Provides an assessment of how the project’s software development process is being implemented relative to the defined process and leads the team in recommending methods to optimize the organization’s process.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Education & Work Experience:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Associate’s Degree, Min. 7 years’ relevant experience</p></li></ul><p><strong>Required Experience & Skills:</strong><br /></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (i.e. waterfall, iterative, agile, etc.).</li><li>Ability to develop and document test plans and create test cases based on software requirements and functional/technical specifications.</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies, processes, and testing metrics.</li><li>Ability to independently test Java client/server software suites with multiple independent components.</li><li>Skilled in application testing on the Windows platform, especially Client/Server .Net and Java applications, data synchronization, Global Platform, and Biometrics, and/or XML/SOAP applications.</li><li>Strong experience in creating, editing, updating SQL statements.</li><li>Knowledgeable in automated testing tools.</li><li>Strong experience using version control systems (i.e. such as Git, VSS, or TFS).</li><li>Strong experience using issue tracking software (i.e. such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestTrackPro).</li><li>Strong analytical and quantitative skills.</li><li>Test applications, develop manual/automation scripts for functional and synchronization process validation.</li><li>Create/update QA test plans and test cases based on requirements functional/technical specifications.</li><li>Ability to design and map test cases to requirements via the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).</li><li>Ensure issues/defects are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner during a testing cycle.</li><li>Serve as a project application lead tester for projects to design and implement innovative solutions to complex testing.</li><li>Ability to work in a cross-functional environment to obtain requirements, specifications, and pertinent data to accurately test supported applications.</li><li>Understand application business rules, configuration management and deployment processes, testing infrastructure, and backend components required to support the application.</li><li>Monitor projects and ensures client requirements are met.</li><li>Coordinate and lead others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations</li><li>Build, confirm, and prioritize project plans and deliverables with clients and vendors.</li><li>Work independently in a collaborative team environment, often with other clients and vendors.</li></ul><p> <strong>Required Certification:</strong> CompTIA Security + CE<br /></p><p><strong>Clearance/Citizenship:</strong> U.S. Citizen, Position of Trust or Top Secret Clearance</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>J</strong><strong>oin the Aderas team!</strong></p><p>At Aderas, we are looking to recruit and retain only the best and brightest.
