  • Responsibilities

    Eastman Credit Union is seeking a Systems Analyst for the Applications/Database Team. This position includes the following responsibilities:

    • Application Management:

    o Oversee the life-cycle of business applications, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations to new platforms.

    o Manage integrations between systems, such as internal and external APIs.

    o Use automation technologies to build and monitor scheduled jobs to improve business workflows and increase productivity.

    o Utilize database tools such as PL/SQL, SSIS, and SSRS to create data extracts and build custom reports.

    o Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

    o Participate in system design and architecture discussions.

    o Translate business needs into technical specifications for application enhancements.

    o Maintain accurate technical documentation for all supported systems.

    o Work closely with the Information Security team to implement protective measures for applications.

    o Participate in routine disaster recovery exercises to run applications from a secondary data center location and maintain associated documentation.

    • Application Support:

    o Provide Tier 2 support to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to applications.

    o Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.

    o Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

    o Work efficiently with U.S.-based and global vendors

    • Project Management:

    o Lead or participate in application-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and integrations.

    o Work with IT Project Manager to define project scopes, create project plans, and manage timelines.

    o Coordinate with other IT analysts and business professionals.

    o Identify and manage risks within the department

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Associates degree in Computer Science, IT, related IT discipline or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.

    • Experience working in a database administrative capacity.

    • Experience with job automation and scheduling technologies preferred.

    • Background in the financial services industry preferred.

    • IT-related certifications are a plus.

  • Qualifications

    Required

    • 2-5 years’ proven business to business sales experience
    • A competitive drive that is motivated by meeting sales quotas
    • Thorough understanding of the needs/analysis approach to sales
    • High level of closing skills and demonstrated organizational and territory planning/management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and gain referrals
    • Four year college degree in related discipline
    • Ability to learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position
    • Ability to work as a team player while working autonomously within a defined region
    • Strong interpersonal, oral, communication, organizational and planning skills

    Preferred

    • 3 or more years experience selling medical capital and diagnostic equipment and disposables
    • Demonstrated aptitude for the cardiac clinical environment with an ability to sell and conduct clinical evaluations
    • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of cardiovascular system
    • High level of instructional skills, specifically instructing physicians and other clinicians in the clinical setting
    • Understands contract administration

    Other

    • Ability to travel a minimum of 70-80% of the time or as required by role
    • Able to lift and manipulate equipment weighing 50#
    • Must be able to meet and maintain customer/medical facility access requirements, including regular or periodic drug screenings with a satisfactory result in accordance with the requirements of the customer/medical facility serviced
    • Valid drivers license
