    Overview of Responsibilities: __ Assists with leading and managing assigned branch for sales and service operations to ensure the financial objectives, strategic goals, and institutional growth are met in accordance with MSGCU’s policies and state and federal government regulations, and in alignment with our desired member experience.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Focuses on providing high quality service to all members through a consistent approach to delivering the member experience that includes sales, services, member satisfaction, operational, and people management to build strong member (internal/external) relationships and deliver member-centric solutions. Performs all duties related to member services responsibilities to exceed member service expectations and provide superior quality service in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
    • Makes good and timely decisions using sound rationale, available data, and relevant or important factors to ensure the overall effectiveness of the branch and that are in alignment with the organization’s focus and direction.
    • Participates in and supports Business Development efforts, activities and events, to maintain key member groups and develop new relationships.
    • Consistently takes action on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm. Manages conflict situations by effectively using Crucial Conversations skills, with minimal noise.
    • Directs work for member facing team members (MSR and BSS) by providing clear direction, ensuring work is aligned with organizational and branch objectives and the desired member experience. Demonstrates a systematic approach to distributing assignments and monitoring work. Delegates and empowers team members to make decisions within their areas of responsibility and removes obstacles to get work done.
    • Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments. Monitors the performance of the branch team, conducts regular sales meetings and observations, and uses the Sales Leadership Strategies(SLS) approach for daily coaching.
    • Works in collaboration with the Branch Manager on branch vision and direction; driving results towards development and implementation of tactics for branch team to attain strategic targets, and assists with annual branch sales plan. Generates ideas and feedback from team members to increase sales effectiveness and enhance productivity and engagement.
    • Assists with conducting branch audits on a periodic basis and prepares audit reports in accordance with security procedures.
    • Communicates effectively by developing and delivering various forms of communication (written, verbal, presentation), that are in alignment with MSGCU’s philosophy, mission, and values. Facilitates discussions and actively listens to ensure a clear understanding of expectations, procedure updates, new products and initiatives.
    • Drives engagement by influencing others and by creating a healthy climate where team members are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.
    • Develops talent by coaching others to build skills in order to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals through mentoring, coaching, and relevant development opportunities. Assists Branch Sales Manager to build an effective team that applies their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals, engages team in the sales process and effective activities to achieve team and corporate goals.
    • Gains the confidence and trust of others by modeling honesty, integrity, authenticity, and behaviors that align with organizational values. Makes responsible choices and exemplifies courage by stepping up to address difficult issues.

    • Provides support, as necessary, for the broader Retail Services team to ensure excellent support for the organization.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or other related field preferred.
    • 3 years of related, progressively more responsible experience within a retail banking environment required.
    • Supervisory experience preferred.

    Working Conditions:

    • Office and branch location environment with little discomfort from noise, extreme temperature, dust, or other factors.
    • Occasionally required to travel throughout MSGCU's service area as business needs require.
    • Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, such as robbery. Receives detailed instructions and security procedures on an annual basis to minimize risk.
    • This work involves sitting most of the time with brief periods of walking or standing and may occasionally require lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. **

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Base salary begins at $53,425/annually
    • Team members in this role are eligible to earn incentives as part of our variable compensation plan

    • If you are at least 21 years old, you will receive a 3% contribution from MSGCU, and a 100% match for the next 7% you contribute to your 401(k)

  • Qualifications

    Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred, in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related area. Minimum of two years professional experience in industry. Teaching experience at the college level; demonstrated ability to work with various populations representing a wide range of abilities, ages, nationalities and cultures; experience with instructional technology.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for instruction and facilitating student learning; committed to student recruitment, retention and success; assessment of learning, development of curriculum and use of instructional delivery modes utilizing both traditional and non-traditional methodology..

    1. Teach assigned course which may include day, night, and online courses, as well as at the main campus and extension centers. Classes are to meet on time for the full allotted time.
    2. Establish and promote an effective learning environment that maximize documented student learning.
    3. Prepare, submit and maintain reports related to student learning.
    4. Grading assignments in a meaningful way to promote continued student growth, returning graded assignments to students in a timely manner, and assigning final grades for all students, meeting or beating all institutional deadlines for completion.
    5. Provide educational assistance to students during regularly scheduled and posted times (i.e., office hours) or by appointment.
    6. Encourage student opinion survey completion for each class and then reviewed after summary information available to assist with increasing student success.
    7. Maintain levels of professional knowledge and expertise, including compliance training or hour.
    8. Perform other duties as assigned.
