    Job Summary:

    The Administrative Assistant – Compliance provides support to the Compliance department by assisting with administrative tasks, maintaining regulatory documentation, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion is required.

    Essential Functions:

    • Assist in maintaining and organizing compliance-related documentation, reports, and records.
    • Support the Compliance team in tracking regulatory requirements and ensuring deadlines are met.
    • Prepare, review, and distribute correspondence, reports, and other materials as directed.
    • Respond to inquiries and provide administrative support for compliance-related matters.
    • Monitor and manage compliance-related filing systems.
    • Ensure sensitive and confidential compliance information is handled securely.
    • Help prepare records, correspondence, reports, and other material using word processing, spreadsheets and/or databases
    • Review complex documents, reports keeping them up to date
    • May assist in assembling and auditing records

    • Performs other administrative duties as assigned or requested.
    • Conforms to all applicable Agency policies and procedures.
    • Participates actively in continuing education and in-services.
    • Maintains confidentiality of patient information and business trade practices

    Minimum Position Qualifications:

    • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Experience: 1 year of administrative support experience. Prefer experience in compliance or healthcare
    • License / Certification: Driver’s license and proof of current auto liability insurance; no listing in the OIG Excluded Provider listing

    Environmental Conditions:

    Works under a variety of conditions in facilities and offices; ability to work flexible schedule, ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather. Moderate noise level; tasks may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens; moderate stress and emotional demands.

    Physical Requirements: Sitting is required. Requires ability to always handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and agency needs. Ability to travel.
