Description: This position offers a wonderful opportunity to practice 2 different skills for Assisting Hands Greater Murray®. One responsibility is administrative and the other is caregiving. If you are a CNA and have done and loved caregiving but are looking to also grow your office skills, this job is for you, as you will be able to do both.
Education: High School Diploma/GED required; CNA in good standing required (2 years of experience a plus)
Qualifications: Be a CNA in good standing with 2 years of experience. Outstanding caregiving experience and interpersonal skills. Be well-organized with an ability to perform office tasks. Must be able to work independently.
Reports to: Agency Director
Primary Duties: Caregiving duties
Perform caregiving duties as needed
Administrative duties
Provides training to new caregivers
Perform supervisory visits
Assist in scheduling shifts
Respond to the phone as needed
Assist in keeping all caregivers file up to date and in compliance (admin)
Other tasks as may arise
Hours: 20 hours a week, between 9 and 5 PM to be determined between employer/employee
FLSA Status: Hourly non-exempt
