They are seeking an Order Management & Operations Coordinator to serve as a key hub between customers, suppliers, sales, and manufacturing. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, solving problems, improving processes, and ensuring every detail is handled accurately from order receipt through fulfillment.
You'll have visibility across the entire business and play a critical role in ensuring customers receive exceptional service while supporting efficient internal operations.
Order Management and Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Manage customer orders from receipt through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication throughout the process.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, estimating, and sales teams to keep projects and orders moving forward.
- Create and maintain purchase orders, vendor communications, and order documentation within the ERP system.
- Provide proactive order status updates and serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries.
- Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, pricing issues, and fulfillment challenges.
- Collaborate with management to identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and operational documentation as needed.
- Support vendor sourcing and bid requests for customer orders.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across multiple systems.
- Assist with general office operations and administrative support as needed.
Order Management and Operations Coordinator Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in order management, customer service, operations coordination, supply chain, manufacturing support, inside sales support, or a related business function.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or product-based environment strongly preferred.
- Exposure to ERP systems and business software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency is a plus.
