    Barrier Islands Psychiatry, PA is seeking a Administrative Assistant to become a part of our team! The Administrative Assistant supports the Practice and Office Managers for executive matters in addition to administrative needs throughout the practice. The ideal candidate would possess a team-oriented work style with an emphasis on communication and service excellence.

    Responsibilities:

    Handle administrative duties in a timely manner

    Perform routine administrative tasks to support business operations

    Support administrative workflow review and compliance

    Support scheduling, billing, and front-end business needs

    Act as resource for the practice regarding administrative inquiries

    Immediately fill to support business needs (ie. registration, scheduling, call maintenance)

    ​Qualifications:

    Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred

    Medical office experience required

    CPT and ICD10 knowledge preferred

    Familiarity with electronic health records management systems or similar

    Strong organizational skills

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    A desire to learn or continue to improve upon skills

    Compensation commensurate with education and experience.

    Compensation: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
