Position Overview
RDE Capital Group, LLC, a leading commercial real estate brokerage based in Dallas, is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeping to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role serves as the first point of contact for the office while providing hands-on exposure to property management, real estate operations, and administrative support.
This role is structured to support leadership and operational teams, including the President, Office Manager, Operations Manager, Accountant, and Portfolio Managers, offering cross-functional exposure and growth opportunities.
The role is ideal for an organized, reliable individual interested in building a long-term career in commercial real estate or property management. It is intentionally designed as a career path, with high performers eligible to advance into Property Management Assistant, Accounting Support, or Portfolio Manager roles within 6–12 months.
Key Responsibilities
Greet residents, property owners, vendors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner
Answer and route phone calls and emails accurately and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office and common areas
Manage meeting room scheduling, calendars, and coordination
Set up, reset, and maintain meeting rooms to ensure readiness
Provide general administrative and data entry support
Receive, sort, log, and distribute incoming mail and packages
Manage outgoing mail, including certified and time-sensitive documents
Route rent checks, legal notices and correspondence accurately
Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks
Enter and post payments using company systems
Process vendor invoices and maintain organized financial records
Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including tracking transactions, reconciling records, and supporting basic accounting functions.
Prepare and process daily bank deposits accurately and on time
Verify payments and maintain deposit logs
Notify management of discrepancies following established procedures
Assist property managers with utility setup, work orders, follow-ups, and documentation
Communicate with residents and vendors regarding routine requests
Learn day-to-day property management systems and processes
Qualifications Required
High school diploma or GED required; interest in continuing education or professional development strongly encouraged
Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required
Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
Professional communication skills in person, over the phone, and via email
Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
Willingness to learn accounting and property management processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured, fast-paced environment
Prior office, administrative, or customer service experience is a plus
Experience with property management software such as AppFolio is a plus
