Administrative Assistant – Childcare Center Discovery Point Hamilton Mill – Dacula, GA
Discovery Point Hamilton Mill is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily front office operations in a fast-paced childcare environment. This role is critical in maintaining organization, compliance, and high-quality customer service for our families and staff.
Position Type: Full-Time Location: Dacula, GA
Key Responsibilities:
Manage front desk operations, including greeting families and visitors
Handle phone calls, emails, and parent inquiries in a professional manner
Process tuition payments and maintain accurate records in Procare
Assist with enrollment, tours, and onboarding of new families
Maintain student files in compliance with Bright from the Start (DECAL) regulations
Support attendance tracking, billing, and reporting
Coordinate communication through newsletters, Procare messages, and postings
Assist management with scheduling, documentation, and general administrative tasks
Qualifications:
Previous administrative or office experience required (childcare setting preferred)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Professional communication and customer service skills
Proficiency with computers and office systems (experience with Procare is a plus)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a licensed childcare center
Familiarity with state licensing standards and childcare compliance
Bilingual is a plus
