    ComForCare Home Care (North San Diego) is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Assistant to support our hiring and onboarding processes. This role plays an important part in helping ensure that caregiver documentation is complete, organized, and compliant with state requirements. The position also requires careful handling of sensitive employee information and strict adherence to confidentiality standards, including HIPAA and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) protections.

    The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks while working both independently and collaboratively. This position supports the HR and operations teams by assisting with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and general administrative functions.

    Responsibilities

    Support the hiring and onboarding process by ensuring required documentation is complete and properly organized

    Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with HIPAA and PII standards

    Assist with scheduling interviews, orientations, and onboarding appointments

    Communicate with applicants and new hires via phone, email, and in-person interactions in a friendly and professional manner

    Help track onboarding requirements and deadlines to ensure timely completion

    Assist with process improvement and help develop or maintain administrative procedures

    Participate in community outreach efforts including job fairs and recruitment events

    Represent the company professionally when interacting with candidates and community partners

    Provide general administrative support to the HR and operations teams

    Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

    Preferred Skills Experience with hiring, onboarding, or HR administrative support Experience with scheduling and coordinating multiple priorities Experience creating or improving processes and workflows

    Requirements Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Previous HR, healthcare, or office administration experience preferred.

    Other Requirements: Must live near North San Diego or the surrounding area. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
