Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Administrative Assistant to join our team. We are a commercial furniture installation company and this is our warehouse office location. Great customer services skills is a must. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor. This job is a full time Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm job. There are occasions when you would be required to stay later than 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone call
Schedule incoming deliveries
Create receiving reports and organize job files
Email our clients their receiving reports
Schedule jobs with our trucks and line the installers up for the jobs
Keep accurate time sheets for the field labor for payroll
Generate work orders for the jobs
Keep organized files so the jobs can be invoiced when complete
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree or administrative training is preferred
Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar position
Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
